Kai holds a master’s degree in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt and boasts multidisciplinary skills that bridge music, technology, and interactive media and a strong foundation in both human and programming languages—from Norwegian and English to Python, Max/MSP, and Unreal Engine Blueprint, His work spans sound design, music production, and game audio implementation, with notable projects including the development of an audio-based 3D puzzle game designed to aid navigation for visually impaired players. He also completed a competitive internship at Tencent Games Headquarters in Shenzhen, where he contributed to sound design and integration workflows for AAA titles.
In addition to his technical expertise, Kai is an independent musician involved in every stage of the creative process, from composition and arrangement to mixing, mastering, and distribution. Deeply drawn to electronic music, his work often explores immersive soundscapes and experimental textures. He is particularly interested in the future of music technology and is currently exploring the development of AI-based plug-ins for DAWs, with the goal of creating smarter, more adaptive tools for artists, composers, and sound designers.

Haowen Deng is a music technologist and audio producer with nine years of experience in music and sound production. A recent graduate of New York University’s Music Technology program, he brings a comprehensive skill set that spans songwriting, composition, arrangement, sound design, mixing, and mastering. With a strong foundation in music theory and genre fluency across jazz, blues, rock, hip-hop, electronic, pop, and R&B, Haowen creates audio content that is both technically precise and stylistically versatile.
Haowen’s professional work focuses on audio for interactive media, particularly within the gaming industry. At Tencent Games, he contributed to major titles through two key roles. At TiMi Audio Lab, he designed in-game music for a new IP of Honor of Kings and Assault Fire, overseeing music for champion skins, maps, and cutscenes while managing external composers. At MoreFun Studios, he created immersive sound effects for games such as Naruto, New Roco, and Arena Breakout, and implemented audio assets in Unreal Engine using Wwise.
Technically proficient and solutions-oriented, Haowen is fluent in tools including Reaper, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and a wide range of industry-standard plugins. He thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about using sound to elevate storytelling

YiliCow (Lixin Cao) is a multifaceted musician from Shanghai, China, with a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and a master’s in Music Technology from NYU. Skilled in singing, songwriting, arranging, and production, he blends classical training with self-taught expertise in keyboard and synthesizer. Known for his androgynous vocal tone and expressive head voice, he also excels in vocal harmony writing, shaped by his leadership in Fudan’s a cappella club.
YiliCow’s work spans Dream Pop, Shoegaze, UK Garage, and Neo Soul, influenced by artists like Radiohead, Björk, Frank Ocean, and D’Angelo. His production fuses electronic and rock elements with rhythmic and harmonic complexity, also drawing from UK dance and Hyperpop aesthetics.
Beyond his solo work, YiliCow composes music for film and video games, integrating both electronic and orchestral textures with global music influences. His academic background reflects strong research capabilities—his NYU thesis focused on Music Information Retrieval, developing a CNN-based system that transcribes beatboxing into drum performances. He continues to explore AI-generated music in his creative pursuits.

shuhe
Shuhe Zhong is a graduate of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance with a focus on electric guitar. He later received his master’s degree in Music Technology from New York University, specializing in game audio and immersive sound design. Following his undergraduate studies, Shuhe worked for several years as an electric guitar instructor.
With a strong foundation in metal-style composition and interactive sound design, Shuhe is proficient in industry-standard tools including Unreal Engine Blueprints, MetaSound, Wwise, Reaper, and Max/MSP. As part of his graduate thesis, he independently developed a first-person shooter game titled Enhancing Immersion in Dimly Lit Games with Advanced 3D Audio, which investigates how spatialized sound can guide player navigation and enhance interactivity in low-visibility environments. The project features two selectable “super hearing” modes and integrates player testing and data analysis to highlight the importance of sound in gameplay immersion.
Shuhe currently serves as the audio director for an independent game project, overseeing both the creative and technical aspects of sound design and implementation using MetaSound.
